With a turnover approaching £250 million, the Vospers Group are amongst the top 50 motor dealers in Great Britain. The company operate from 24 sites throughout Devon and Cornwall, offering vehicle sales and aftercare on 11 different brands.
Since 2013, McCaren have supported Vospers across their estate, working alongside the Directors and Facilities Manager to deliver showroom upgrades, new brand franchises, and new destination retail and workshop facilities.
With a commercial timetable driven by bi-annual registration plate releases, a responsive and collaborative design team approach is an essential part of our service; delivering design solutions quickly and smoothly.

Showroom design
Showrooms pictured include Seat / Mazda at Marsh Mills in Plymouth, and Fiat / Abarth in Treliske, Cornwall, both of which involved the transformation of existing spaces to create revitalised retail areas. Extensive glazed facades were used to provide shopfront display and maximise daylight within the showrooms. The project brief included the reorganisation of car parking and car display layouts, as well as obtaining local authority consents for branded signage and external alterations. Working closely with the manufacturers, a contemporary interior fit-out of the new showrooms was installed in accordance with precise corporate brand specifications.
