Great news for us and our clients at Jabulani – we’ve been successful in our grant application to the Innovate UK DCMS Create Growth Programme!  This means we’ll receive funded support to use the Jabulani 2.0 project as a prototype for our circular design-and-build service, delivering, monitoring and assessing the processes needed for a successful circular service at RIBA Stage 4.  Over the coming months we’ll be sourcing pre-used materials to build Jabulani’s extended multi-cultural food court facility, mobilising stakeholders to build it, and measuring the carbon and social impacts of working in this circular way.  We hope it’s the first of many innovative circular design-and-builds that combine waste reuse with social benefit.
